1. Preoperative attention: (1) Laboratory and drug allergy test: check bleeding and coagulation time. If procaine is used for local anesthesia, the patient needs to do a skin test. (2) Posture preparation: Assist the patient to take an appropriate posture according to the puncture site. If the puncture is performed on the sternum and anterior superior spine of the iliac, take the supine position. For the superior spine puncture, take the lateral or prone position; for the spinous process puncture point, take the sitting position, bend the waist as much as possible, and bend the head over the chest to expose the spinous process.

2. Postoperative attention: (1) Observation: Pay attention to observe whether there is bleeding at the puncture site. If there is bleeding, immediately change the sterile gauze, and compress the wound until there is no bleeding. (2) Protect the puncture site: Instruct the patient not to wet the puncture site within 48 to 72 hours, rest in bed, avoid strenuous activities, and prevent wound infection.
